If you handle these VTAs, you will need a Certified Handler certificate to purchase, transport, store, and apply these substances:

microencapsulated zinc phosphide (MZP)
para-aminopropiophenone (PAPP)
potassium cyanide
sodium cyanide
sodium fluoroacetate (1080)
Life Cycles: disposal, storage, transport, use.
Key Learning outcomes:
Demonstrate working knowledge and experience in handling VTA Class 6.1A and 6.1B substances in the workplace
Demonstrate knowledge and experience in Inventory Control and Storage (tracking and application records, labelling, and signage)
Demonstrate knowledge of the Hierarchy of Controls to manage associated risks
Demonstrate knowledge in reading and interpreting Safety Data Sheet
Demonstrate knowledge of emergency responses
